As economic globalization and information technology are intensifying,competition between countries is becoming increasingly fierce,and competition at various levels and forms is in the end the competition between knowledge and innovation.Organizational innovation originates from each individual,which is the combination of integration and sublimation of individual innovations.Individuals play an indispensable role in organizational innovation.Therefore,in the context of the current era of intensified competition and innovation-oriented,paying close attention to employee learning and development,helping employees acquire innovation-related knowledge and skills,thereby improving the organization's human capital and obtaining better individual and organizational innovation results has become a vital question to organizations.Based on the componential model of creativity,this article introduces three related concepts(thriving at work,creative process engagement,and innovation performance)to explore the effect of employee's percived work prosperity on innovation performance.Thriving at work refers to the learning and vitality experience experienced by individuals in the organization at work.It represents the growth and development of individuals and is an experience that has an important impact on both individuals and organizations.Creative process engagement refers to the manner or degree of participation of employees in the cognitive process closely related to creativity,which includes positioning problems,search coding of information and generating alternatives.Innovation performance is an important variable for measuring the generation,promotion and realization of thinking in an organization.The level of individual innovation performance is responsible for the success or failure of organizational innovation.At present,the research on the relationship between thriving at work and employee innovation performance is still scarce,and the empirical research on its mechanism is still lacking.This article focuses on the concept of creative process engagement and discusses whether the concept has a significant impact on employee perceived prosperity and innovation performance.The componential model of creativity shows that the process of innovation will be significantly influenced by social psychology factors.As a social psychology factor and cultural value,power distance orientation measures to which extent individuals accept the unequal power distribution in organizations,reflecting individuals' perceptions of society and organizations.Therefore,this paper explores whether power distance has a moderating effect on employee job prosperity and innovation performance.This paper selects employees from a number of enterprises and institutions in Jiangsu,Shandong,and Anhui provinces as research objects.Through the construction of a moderation mediation model,an empirical analysis method is used to analyze the questionnaire survey of 271 employees,which validates the research hypothesis proposed in this paper.It is found through research that thriving at work and innovation performance have a significant positive correlation,and the creative process engagement has a significant mediating role between employee thriving at work and innovation performance.In addition,this paper also demonstrates the moderating role of power distance in employee perceived work prosperity through innovation process input to affect the entire process of innovation performance.This paper theoretically complements the research on the mechanism between job prosperity and innovation performance,and conducts in-depth research on employee innovation performance from a process perspective.The conclusion of this article also provides guidance and recommendations for corporate managers.Managers should pay attention to the work prosperity of employees in the organization,provide employees with a learning atmosphere and a viable platform,and encourage employees to invest in the innovation process,thereby improving employees themselves.Innovation performance.
