| Currently, methods to analyze indoor airflow are restricted to an engineering point of view. These methods are often time consuming and very specialized. This research examines how virtual reality can play a role in architectural visualization and interior design by visualizing indoor airflow in a residential setting. A study was conducted in which users experienced an interactive visualization to determine if virtual reality aided their understanding of airflow in a given room. Suggestions were then offered on how this research could be expanded and incorporated into interior design to improve the airflow quality of indoor environments. |
