TromboneExcerpts.org contains printable excerpts from original orchestral trombone parts and numerous audio recordings of orchestras playing these excerpts in context. Professional, student, and amateur trombonists can use this Web site as a pedagogical tool to identify weaknesses in their orchestral playing that need to be addressed with corrective work during practice. In theory, practice and repeated listening lead to higher caliber players, more successful auditions, and eventually higher caliber orchestral performances.
