Abstract/Summary:
The object of this thesis is the analysis of the novels, cinematic novels and multimediatic works of the Quebecois writer Hubert Aquin and the French neonovelist Alain Robbe-Grillet. The theories used in the comparison of the works of these authors are intergenerecity and intermediality.;The second part is focused on the analysis of the diverse media tensions implemented by these writers in their multimedia works, that is Hubert Aquin's TV dramas (in which he combines theater, cinema and television), Alain Robbe-Grillet's photographic iconotexts (where text and pictures are juxtaposed) and cinema novels (common to both authors and characterized by a filmic style).;The main point of view of this thesis is comparatism.
