| This thesis devotes to the study of non-contact test of Poisson's ratio. First, the definition of Poisson's ratio and the conventional way of Poisson's ratio's measurement is introduced, then, moiré method is explained. Second, the connection between the radius of the anticlastic curvature of a pure bending beam and Poisson's ratio is found; Calculation of the radius by shadow moiré method is developed. Third, comparison between experiment result and database value shows that this method has an excellent accuracy. Fourth, the loading effect is investigated, revealed the stress-strain relation's influence on the result. |
