Abstract/Summary:
We use isothermal titration calorimetry (ITC) to study the binding mechanism that occurs at the solid-liquid interface during heterogeneous catalyst synthesis. The study focuses on Pt transition metal complexes (TMC) that adsorb via an electrostatic interaction onto an oxide support (gamma-Al2O 3 and SiO2). (Abstract shortened by UMI.).
