| The purpose of this project was to write a grant to fund an outreach program for homeless adolescents. The literature review addressed the prevalence, risk factors, barriers to services, and interventions that are pertain to this hard to reach population. The Department of Health and Human Services-USA was selected as a possible funder.;The outreach program will become part of the services offered at CSP, Huntington Beach Youth Shelter. The outreach program has the goals to reduce the amount of homeless adolescents in Orange County, California. Along with reducing the amount of homeless adolescents, the outreach program will provide this population with the tools necessary to make healthy choices, decrease the consequences from living on the street, and live in a safe place. |
