Abstract/Summary:
Finding a way to help students succeed in life is more important now than ever in the past. The Texas FFA has found a way to do that by awarding college scholarships to students who have excelled in The FFA. The purpose of this study was to find out how large of a role these scholarships played in the success of past FFA members.;In order to evaluate student success rate two surveys were developed. The first survey was to get University Department Head's opinions of these students' success rates and how well they were prepared for college, as well as whether or not they had more opportunities offered to them because of their FFA/scholarship backgrounds. The second survey was to get the students' opinion on how much the scholarship helped them and if they felt as though they had more success as a result of receiving an FFA Scholarship.
