Abstract/Summary:
The purpose of this study was to assess the availability of computers for Oklahoma's secondary journalism teachers in light of federal mandates and to understand how they were used for classroom instruction. The questionnaire adopted from Hogarty, Lang & Kromrey (2003) aimed to understand how computer technology has diffused in classroom instruction. Roger's diffusion of innovation was used as the theorectical framework. Teachers' attitudes toward computers were also examined. Paper and online questionnaires were used to gather responses of teachers; frequencies, as well as inferential statistics such as one-way ANOVA and independent t-tests were used to analyze data.
