Abstract/Summary:
High-speed photoelectric photometry of the occultation of two point-source stars was performed at the 1.04-meter telescope at the Stephen F. Austin State University Observatory. A new analysis program was obtained and implemented. The program allows input of spectral response data for the photomultiplier and filters used in the analysis and provides output of a smoothed data set, integral plot data set, and a modeled diffraction pattern data set for the occultation event. Two observations were made of point source stars and an analysis provided. Further updates to the analysis program were considered along with future modifications to the telescope.
