Solubility data for solids in supercritical fluids (SF's) is one of the most important phase equilibrium properties for the design of Supercritical Fluid Extraction and Supercritical Fluid Chromatography (SFC) processes. Due to the large number of pharmaceutical companies in Puerto Rico, the search for effective and environmentally safe specialty separation processes is always of great interest.
