Abstract/Summary:
The vibrational properties of the atomic clusters were to be studied. Empirical two-body and three-body potentials were considered to model the interactions between the atoms. The conjugate gradient method was used to find the minimum energy cluster structures, and the theory of small oscillations was used to determine the vibrational frequencies. The trends in vibrational properties were computed as a function of the cluster size.
