Abstract/Summary:
Experiments were conducted to evaluate the utility of CGA-362622 in transgenic cotton weed control programs. Postemergence treatments consisted of CGA-362622 applied alone, tank-mixed with, or applied sequentially with glyphosate or bromoxynil in respective experiments.;Three additional experiments were conducted to evaluate potential antagonism between CGA-362622 and currently registered graminicides. The graminicides used were clethodim, fluazifop-P, and quizalofop-P. When CGA-362622 was tank-mixed with the graminicides, a 20, 19, 28, and 31% reduction in control was observed 7, 14, 21, and 28 DAT, respectively. In order to maximize efficacy, graminicides should be applied at least 3 days before applying CGA-362622. Conversely, if CGA-362622 is applied first, a period of more than 7 days should elapse before applying any graminicide. (Abstract shortened by UMI.)...
