Abstract/Summary:
The purpose of this research is to provide an initial explanation of the personality characteristics of Engineers. The Sixteen Personality Factor Questionnaire (16PF), Fifth Edition, was administered to forty engineers. All of the subjects were actively searching for new employment opportunities, and were clients of Target Recruiting (a staffing firm specializing in engineering professionals). Group means and other statistics are reported and additional research areas are discussed in further detail.
