Abstract/Summary:
The purpose of this thesis was to simulate the current Judicial System process of Panama in order to identify constraints, bottlenecks, and staff utilization inefficiencies. In simulating the proposed system, the goals were to identify and remove constraints, if any and determine staff requirements for the new system. Data were collected from reports of the statistics department of the Judicial Organ. A simulation model was developed using Microsoft Excel software to obtain results. These results showed average staff utilization of 92% for the Judicial System. Through successfully implementation of the proposed system, the Judicial System of Panama will improve its process and save in unwanted costs, improve foreign relations, and decrease the time of resource utilization.
