Abstract/Summary:
Amyloglucosidase, glucose isomerase and ;Four chemically derivatized bone surfaces were synthesized and checked for suitability for enzyme binding. Compared to the control bone (not derivatized), 1.3-1.7 fold increases occurred in the amount of amyloglucosidase activity bound. All but one method showed higher specific activity values compared to the control bone. However, the Km values for the enzyme bound to derivatized bone surfaces showed an additional 1.9-5.3 fold increase.
