The structure of the complex is a distorted square pyramid consisting of the N;A new pyrazolate-bridged dinuclear Cu(II) complex 4 has been prepared from the trianion of the Schiff-base ligand formed by the condensation of two moles of salicylaldehyde with one mole of 1,4-diaminobutan-2-ol. This complex was characterized by single-crystal x-ray structure determination and by magnetic susceptibility studies in the range of 297.5 to 5.0 K. The exchange coupling parameter, ;The new bis imidazole ligand bis(4(5)-imidazolylmethyl)amine (b4ima) has been prepared and characterized. Two units of b4ima were incorporated into the new heptadentate dinucleating ligand 2,6-bis ((bis((imidazol-4(5)-yl)methyl)amino)-methyl) -4-methylphenol (4bimp). Several copper and nickel complexes of 4(5)-aminomethylimidazole, b4ima, and 4bimp were prepared and characterized. The imidazole(N)-methyl analogue of b4ima, bis(4-(1-methylimidazolyl)methyl)amine (mb4ima) was prepared as the trihydrochloride salt in low yield. This compound was characterized by... | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Bis, Complex, Prepared, Characterized, B4ima | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
