Nature of Scientific Theories and Scripture Interpretation: Evangelical Response to Bernard Ramm's The Christian View of Science and Scripture in Light of Recent Developments in Genetic Scienc

This thesis examines the relationship between science and Scripture from a Christian perspective, proposing that there are certain cases where Christians may refrain from assenting to a scientific claim if that claim contradicts their interpretation of Scripture. Applying this principle to the apparent conflict between genetic science and Christianity regarding Adam's historicity, this thesis argues that Christians have epistemic warrant to continue believing in the historical Adam in spite of scientific evidences that appear to claim otherwise.
