The upper reaches of the Kuruk Jieliek River are located at the junction of the western Tianshan fold belt and the western Junggar micro-plate-Alata fold belt.Which is the Eastern Section of the Hualixi Fold Belt in Weizhentao Mountains.Magmatic activity was frequent happened in the middle and late period of Variscan. It was suggested as the favorable geological background for uranium mineralization. The granite-type uranium deposits in the study area are mainly hosted in the outer contact zone between the middle Variscan granite and the Qingbaikou system. They are mainly controlled by anticlinal structures and faults, and they are closely related to intermediate-basic and intermediate-acid dikes. However, the spatial distribution characteristics of the granite and the outer contact zone of the Qingbaikou system in the study area are still unclear, the development characteristics of anticlinal structures and faults have not been clarified, and the distribution of intermediate-basic and intermediate-acid dikes needs to be ascertained. Therefore, through the work of AMT and ground high-precision magnetic survey in the upper reaches of the Kuruk-Jieliek River,Corresponding relationship between electrical layer and rock stratum has been established;it has been found that the contact zones in the study area are mostly irregular arc-shaped,with tongue-shaped granite veins intersecting in limestone locally, and the contact zones are concealed in the south in the west, steeply slowing down in the deep;the fault structures in the study area are mainly near east-west,north-east,followed by north-west,and nearly East-West faults are the main part of the area.Faults develop early and on a large scale, with NW and NE trending faults as their secondary structures, which are small in scale and closely related to mineralization;more intermediate-acid dikes intrude into granites than Late Variscan ones, showing as beads or elliptical high resistivity bodies in the cross-section,mainly distributed in the southwestern corner of the working area;combined with ore-controlling factors in the area,at the intersection of faults F1,F14 and AE03-AE04 lines. It is inferred that there is a favorable area for uranium mineralization with a controlled area of about 0.3 km2.
