Research On Technology Alienation Theory And Its Contemporary Value

Since the beginning of the 21st century,the fourth industrial revolution is in full swing with the emergence of the latest technologies such as artificial intelligence and virtual reality.Against this background,the level of science and technology has been unprecedentedly improved and has become the main driving force for the development of human society.However,while the rapid development of science and technology has brought great convenience to human society,it also restricts people to a certain extent and hinders their development.Due to the huge energy contained in science and technology,the controllers of cutting-edge science and technology can influence the development of human society to a certain extent and have a certain right to speak.Therefore,just like the Western religions in the Middle Ages,science and technology are gradually alienating into an "ideology" in today’s society.People and their many activities are dominated by science and technology.Science and technology have also become a symbol of the struggle for dominance of various classes,Distorting its meaning for the benefit of mankind.This phenomenon is intensifying with the continuous development of science and technology,and has become a major problem that human society must face today.By reflecting on technology alienation and its theory in combination with the current social reality,this article can explore a contemporary way of thinking to mitigate the negative effects of technology alienation and make technology as beneficial to people as possible.The thesis is divided into four parts.The first part is an overview of the related theories of technology alienation.This part discusses the ideological origin of the technology alienation theory and the definition of related concepts in contemporary times.The second part is the characteristics and expressions of the technology alienation theory.It mainly introduces the characteristics and prominent manifestations of technological alienation in today’s society.The third part is the origin and evasion of technology alienation theory.The causes of technological alienation are analyzed,and evasive measures are proposed for the phenomenon of technological alienation.The fourth part is the contemporary value of technology alienation theory.This part is the focus of this article.First,the analysis of the technology alienation theory is helpful to correctly understand the current technology alienation phenomenon in China.Second,the technology alienation theory is introduced to provide a new valuedimension for the development of technology.Finally,the technology alienation theory provides a new reference for the construction of a harmonious socialist society.Significance;This article adopts the perspective of materialist dialectics to view science and technology,take the positive and rational side of technology,pay attention to the value of people,and build a socialist harmonious society.
