Research On The Application Of Meteorological Data Visualization In General Aviation

The rapid development of general aviation is the cornerstone of the rapid development of civil aviation,but also China's way into a strong civil aviation country,the flight safety in general aviation operations is the foundation of the general aviation industry to maintain steady development.In general aviation,which is mainly concentrated in low and medium altitude airspace,complex and variable weather is a major cause of flight safety and efficiency in general aviation,and weather-related unsafe incidents in general aviation are common.Timely and comprehensive access to accurate and reliable general aviation weather information can effectively reduce or even prevent aviation accidents.Therefore,designing and implementing a general aviation weather service system that visualizes weather data can significantly improve the level of protection of general aviation weather services,ensure the safety of general aviation operations and promote the positive development of the general aviation industry.This paper designs and builds a general aviation weather service system based on B/S structure from the actual needs of general aviation industry personnel,the system is front-end and back-end separated,using Vue.js and the Leaflet framework to build the front-end pages of the map and Python for the back-end development.The system uses BP neural networks to predict the visibility of the airport area and uses Mercator map projection transformations to enhance the visualization of meteorological data,thus effectively improving the service quality of the general aviation weather service system.The general aviation weather service system uses graphic,digital,vertical layering and vertical profiling display technologies to visualize different weather elements(e.g.wind direction and speed,temperature,visibility),providing a national radar echo puzzle as well as a display of weather cloud maps.In addition,the system provides live enquiry of airport meteorological information and terminal forecast function,and can display the latest METAR and TAF telegrams for this airport,so that users can can plan routes according to the actual needs of general aviation operations in the system to reduce or even avoid the occurrence of general aviation unsafe events caused by weather.The general aviation weather service system is now up and running,aiming to provide a one-stop general aviation weather enquiry service for general aviation users.
