| Walking with hand load and obstacle crossing are common complex gait behaviors of the elderly. The purpose of this study is to summarize gait strategies that prevent elderly people from falling during obstacle crossing under different weight distributions,12 elderly males and 12 young males(control group)performed obstacle crossing and no obstacle walking tasks with different distribution patterns of weight at daily walking pace, and the leading limb was left and right respectively during obstacle crossing.EMG signal data on both sides of VL,RF and VM were collected. At the same time, the event of touching obstacles in the obstacle crossing test was recorded.According to the percentage value of the gait task stage after standardization,it was used as the parameter for comparative analysis.Combined with the results of significant difference level and the number of touch events, the effects of age, different distribution patterns of weight distribution, obstacle crossing, leading limb and other factors on the measured muscles of the elderly and young people were analyzed in detail. The research conclusions mainly include:First, the weight distribution and obstacle crossing tasks had a significant effect on the level of lower limb muscle activity in both the elderly and young groups. However, there was no significant difference in the level of lower extremity muscle activity when the leading limb was left of right.Secondly,RVM is the muscle that contributes the most when performing different weight distribution and obstacle crossing tasks, especially when performing obstacle crossing with one hand.Through percentage values and statistical results of obstacle touch events, the influencing factors that lead to falls of the elderly in the face of loading and obstacle crossing gait tasks were demonstrated. Finally, the relationship between the difference of muscle contribution of VL,RF and VM and the fall of the elderly and young people when they complete weight carrying and obstacle crossing was compared and analyzed. The result of this study provides scientific guidance and suggestions for the prevention of falls in the elderly when they are walking with obstacle and with different distribution patterns of load.At the same time, the application research and analysis of the fall warning of the elderly according to the factors affecting the fall of the elderly provides important ideas for preventing the fall of the elderly. |
