| Enterprises mostly use the trolley tempering furnace method,which has the advantage of large production batch and ensuring the quality of the drill pipe after tempering.With the construction of digital workshop and the development trend of green production.Therefore,the open continuous tempering method of friction weld of drill pipe is put forward.This method has the advantages of automatic production,local heating of drill pipe and reducing energy consumption.For the open tempering furnace in this method,the research contents are as follows:(1)Systematically analyze the basic structure and heat transfer mode of open tempering furnace,furnace height,heater position,heater number and heater outer diameter are the above factors as the basis for optimizing the size of open tempering furnace.After optimization,the height difference of uniform area in furnace is100 mm.The error range of the numerical model of the open tempering furnace is within 6.3%,so the numerical simulation results of the temperature field are reliable.(2)Based on the analysis of the temperature field distribution of the open tempering furnace,the temperature field of the Φ 73mm-T7 mm drill pipe friction weld in the heat treatment process of the open tempering furnace was numerically simulated.It was obtained that the time of heating the drill pipe weld area to the required temperature 560℃ was 41min。(3)through the mechanical performance test and metallographic experiment,determine Φ 73mm-T7 mm to meet the quality requirements and the lowest energy consumption of tempering process parameters: heating to 560℃ for 41 min,insulation time for 60 min.Through the research and test results,this paper shows that the uniform temperature area of the open tempering furnace meets the tempering,thus confirming the reliability of the open continuous tempering method of the drill pipe friction weld. |
