Water and soil resources are the core resources and material basis of agricultural production. With the intensification of human activities, the quantity and quality of high-quality arable land in Xinjiang has decreased, and the efficiency of arable land utilization has also decreased.Affected by global climate change, water resources have become more and more tense, the ecological environment has become increasingly severe, and the carrying capacity of resources and environment has declined. The problem seriously threatens the sustainable use of cultivated land.Based on the natural characteristics of Xinjiang's poor water and soil resources and uneven distribution in time and space,as well as the current status of development and utilization,by adopting favorable measures and means to improve the efficiency of water and soil resources development and utilization, and accurately regulate and form a scientific, reasonable and efficient water and soil resource allocation pattern,it will be useful for Xinjiang.Provide reference for the development, utilization and coordinated development of water and soil resources.Based on Xinjiang and other regions(states and cities)the water and soil resource data from 2009 to2018,the evaluation model of water resource pressure and the benefit of cultivated land utilization is constructed, and the relationship between water resource pressure and the efficiency of cultivated land utilization in Xinjiang is empirically studied by using the coupling coordination model. The research found that:(1)Xinjiang's comprehensive water resources has shown a slow downward trend from 2009 to 2018.There is no pressure on population and economic development, but there is ecological pressure, and the pressure on technological development is relatively large, most of the regions(states and cities)there is no comprehensive pressure of water resources.(2)Xinjiang cultivated land use social and economic benefits overall has continued to rise, but the ecological benefits fluctuate greatly and show a downward trend, the impact of the use of arable land affected by the ecological benefits overall efficiency of fluctuation is large, although the overall efficiency of the use of arable land showed a good development trend, but the overall level of arable land utilization benefits is not high.(3)By coupling model calculation results of data analysis found that Xinjiang 10 years of cultivated land use efficiency and water stress coupling and coupling coordination of the overall upward trend, but the pressure on water resources composite score unstable, large fluctuations up and down, the comprehensive benefits of arable land utilization are stable. The research finds that the development pressure of water resources technology in Xinjiang is very great, there are significant differences in the utilization benefits of cultivated land in north and south Xinjiang, and there is an interdependent and restricted relationship between water and soil resources. All parts of Xinjiang(states and cities)should coordinate the development and utilization of soil and water resources according to local conditions, promote the coordination between the utilization of soil and water resources and the carrying capacity of the resource environment, and finally realize the sustainable development of soil and water resources.
