In recent years,China's economy has been developing rapidly,at the same time, people's living standard has also been significantly improved, the domestic demand for oil and gas resources has also reached a new height. But rich reserves of oil and gas resources in our country, though,is far less than demand, including content is less, easy development of conventional oil and gas, relative unconventional oil and gas resources, its storage conditions is complex, and the yield of crude oil quality is bad, need very high development cost, the above problems are lead to oil and gas resources in China in the long term will be in short supply situation. In recent decades, great discoveries have been made in the tectonic belt of the Tazhong uplift. In the Ordovician carbonate strata, there are favorable conditions for hydrocarbon accumulation, which are mainly reflected in the development of fault zones,multi-stage unconformity surface, karst pores and other favorable factors for hydrocarbon migration and storage. At present, the amount of oil and gas resources in this area is far lower than the proven amount, and there is no substantial breakthrough and progress in the research means and methods. This paper introduces 3D geological modeling means to carry out further basic geological research work in Tazhong area.3D geological Modeling technology has been widely used in many fields in recent years, its principle is: in the three-dimensional virtual environment, the use of geological(seismic)interpretation, spatial information management, spatial analysis and prediction, geological statistics, visualization and entity analysis and other functions to analyze the target. In this paper, with the aid of powerful SKUA-GOCAD software, use research areas including multi-source data modeling, such as drilling experimental data and the central uplift the ordovician 3 d geological modeling and the lithological properties of model building, with the analysis of SKUA-GOCAD software function and drilling porosity analysis to evaluate central uplift the ordovician reservoir. The results are as follows :(1)The 3D geological model of the study area is established by using the multi-source data fusion method supplemented by drilling data and other geological data and the software SKUA-GOCAD,which can be used to simulate the spatial distribution of deep strata.(2)The terrain in the study area is high in the west and low in the east, and high in the south and low in the north. There are multi-stage unconformities among the strata, and almost all the strata have been eroded to varying degrees.(3)The analysis of lithology data shows that the proportion of dolomite and mudstone is large, while the proportion of limestone or argillaceous limestone is small. There is a great difference in lithology development between the east and west of the study area.(4)The porosity and permeability of the rocks at the fracture development and fault intersections are good, and good karst reservoir space is easy to form, and the rock porosity changes regularly with the fault strike;(5)Combined with porosity analysis and lithology spatial distribution prediction, the oil and gas storage space of Ordovician Yingshan Formation in Tazhong uplift is developed in the central part of the study area and about 5000 meters away from the convergence of faults.
