Xinghe area of Inner Mongolia is located in the middle of the northern margin of the North China block. In recent years, because of the superior metallogenic geological conditions in this area,a number of large-super-large porphyry molybdenum deposits, such as Dasuji,Cao Siyao and Zhujiawa, have been discovered successively, which has become another molybdenum deposit accumulation area in China.Based on the predecessor's research product, this paper analyzes the metallogenic geological conditions of the three typical molybdenum deposits of Dasuji,Caosiyao and Zhujiawa deposits, the metallogenic factors are determined, and the metallogenic model of porphyry molybdenum deposits in this area is summarized. The comparative analysis shows that the three typical molybdenum deposits have great similarities in metallogenic epoch, geological characteristics, element association and mineralization alteration.According to the geological characteristics mentioned above, the ore-controlling factors of molybdenum deposits in the study area are summarized, and the favorable mineralization areas are determined according to factors such as stratum, structure, magmatic rock and geochemical anomaly. In this paper, the geochemical parameters of Mo,Bi,W and Sn elements in four maps(Jining,Zhangjiakou,Datong,Tianzhen)are counted by the data of 1:200,000 Stream sediments in the study area.Using the traditional statistical method and the fractal content-area method, the anomaly threshold of Mo and the high temperature associated elements Bi,W,and Sn are delineated.Compared with the single element anomaly map,the abnormal characteristics of the two methods are analyzed, and the optimal abnormal threshold value is preferred.Among them,Mo and Sn are suitable for fractal content-area method, while Bi and W are suitable for traditional statistical methods. And the threshold of Mo anomaly is 1.5×10-6,that of Bi anomaly threshold is 0.22×10-6,that of W anomaly threshold is 1.4×10-6,and that of Sn anomaly threshold is 2.8×10-6.A total of 69 Mo anomalies,98 Bi anomalies,103 W anomalies and 145 Sn anomalies were delineated in the study area.Sixteen comprehensive anomalies with Mo anomalies as the main anomalies were delineated, including 2 type A anomalies,5 type B anomalies and9 type C anomalies.According to the spatial distribution of 16 comprehensive anomalies, combined with the distribution of strata and magmatic rocks in the area, three molybdenum metallogenic prospects and two molybdenum metallogenic favorable target areas were divided.Among them,HS-8 anomaly and HS-15 anomaly have better comprehensive metallogenic geological conditions and comprehensive anomaly characteristics, and have good metallogenic potential. This study provides the basis for the subsequent prospecting work in the study area.
