The logistics industry not only plays a vital role in promoting the rapid development of social economy, but also brings a lot of convenience to people's daily life.At the same time,in the actual logistics activities, due to these problems such as the single mode of transportation or the unreasonable transportation structure and the contradiction between logistics demand and transportation resources, which contribute to higher social logistics costs and overload cannot be ignored. Therefore, the logistics enterprises choose a suitable transportation mode for the actual logistics problem, which can not only ensure the delivery of the goods to meet the needs of customers, but also effectively reduce logistics costs and improve the competitiveness of logistics enterprises.Choosing the suitable mode of transportation has become an important way for logistics enterprises to reduce costs. This article aims at the current situation that the differences in the loading capacity, unit transportation costs and other factors of different transportation modes have different effects on the coordination of inventory costs and transportation costs, taking the loading capacity into account in the selection of transportation modes of logistics enterprises, and takes railway and highway as the main research object to establish multiple transportation selection models considering the integration of storage and transportation, including single transportation model and combined transportation model, which provide a theoretical reference for logistics enterprises to choose a suitable transportation mode.Aiming at the problem of transportation mode selection considering the integration of storage and transportation, this article researched the problem about multiple transportation mode selection considering the load constraints and not considering the load constraints when the theory of logistics distribution and cost allocation is applied to the combined transport. The research shows that: 1)In the single transportation model without considering the load capacity constraint, when the logistics demand and the unit transportation cost, inventory cost and fixed transportation cost meet a certain relationship, the competitive advantages of railway transportation and road transportation are different in different logistics demand ranges, that is,road transportation is suitable for small-scale logistics needs, and rail transportation is suitable for large-scale logistics requirements;2)In the single mode of transportation when considering the load constraints, the cost of the integrated transportation system is a segmented function of the logistics demand,When theloading capacity, unit transportation cost, inventory cost and fixed transportation cost of each transportation method meet different conditions, the transportation mode selected under different logistics demand ranges are also different;3)When the load constraints are not considered, the logistics are allocated to the railway and road for combined transportation according to different proportions,The research shows that when the railway and highway transportation batches are the same each time, combined transport is only superior to the rail transport and road transport in the single mode of transport within the scope of different logistics demand;4)When considering load constraints, the railway and road are regarded as the whole transportation resources to carry out the combined transportation according to the cost sharing theory. The research shows that when the demand of logistics is less, single transportation is better than combined transportation, and the way of cost sharing based on the logistics cost of railway and road transportation is better than the way of cost sharing based on the optimal load.Based on the above research conclusions, taking the transportation of chemical products of Company A as an example,it provides relevant theoretical guidance for Company A to choose a suitable transportation method.
