Railway transportation and highway transportaion are the main force of freight transportation in our country, which can be induced from the development of transportation system. Decision making problem research on landway logistics is of great significance for the informatization, automatization, modernization, intelligentization and rationalization of logistics system. The dissertation mainly focuses on the flatcar loading problem in railway transportation and the route optimization in motor-rail multimodal transportation, and corresponding models and algorithms are presented respectively. The design of aided decision making software for flatcar loading problem is also discussed in the dissertation. The main contributions are summarized as follows:(1) The study on basic logistics theory. Firstly, the meanings of logistics, logistics system, supply chain, military logistics and civil logistics and their relation are analyzed. Secondly, the research background and research significance of the dissertation are also analyzed. Finally, the research on military logistics, material loading and route optimization at home and abroad is summarized, and problems which need further study are given.(2) The models and algorithms for railway flatcar loading problem are studied. Firstly, the railway flatcar loading problem is divided into five problems: single-style flatcar loading problem based on flatcar priority, single-style flatcar loading problem based on freight sequencing priority, single-style flatcar loading problem for multiple group freight based on freight sequencing priority, multi-style flatcar loading problem based on flatcar priority and multi-style flatcar loading problem based on freight sequencing priority. The mathematical models of the above-mentioned problems are presented. Secondly, on the bases of simple genetic algorithm, NF algorithm and FFD algorithm, corresponding algorithms are proposed. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed algorithms is proved through example results.(3) The models and algorithms for route optimization in motor-rail multimodal transportation are studied. Firstly, the motor-rail multimodal transportation route optimization problem is divided into four problems: single-object real number motor-rail multimodal transportation route optimization, multi-object real number motor-rail multimodal transportation route optimization, single-object interval motor-rail multimodal transportation route optimization and multi-object interval motor-rail multimodal transportation route optimization. The virtual transportation networks and mathematical algorithms of above problems are presented respectively. Secondly, the ideas of multi-attribute decision making method based on information entropy, multi-attribute decision making method dealing with problems with interval attributes value, restriction controlling method and population diversity controlling method are introduced into simple genetic algorithm, and corresponding algorithms are proposed. Finally, experiments and results are also given to prove the effectiveness of the algorithms.(4) The aided decision making software system for railway flatcar loading is designed and implemented with the support of above-proposed algorithms. On the basis of an introduction of software design with Unified Modeling Language, the design of the aided decision making software for railway flatcar loading is described and the implementation of the aided decision making software by C++ Builder programming language is also presented.
