We propose a two-grid level set method for compliance optimization of elastic structures and a two-grid binary level set method for structural eigenvalue optimization.For the compliance optimization problem,we use two grids to solve the state equation and the gradient flow equation.For the eigenvalue optimization problem,we use an efficient two-grid finite element method to solve the nonlinear eigenvalue problem.By the binary level set method,the algorithm can perform topological and shape changes with no need of reinitialization.Numerical examples are presented to illustrate the effectiveness and efficiency of the algorithms.
