The rapid development of science and technology has promoted the great changes in the way of production and life of human beings. The discovery of double helix structure of DNA makes the understanding of diseases enter into the molecular level. In recent years, development of gene editing technology has brought a new "genetic engineering revolution",and the event of gene editing babies has brought the discussion about the technology to a boom.Human embryo gene editing is of inestimable value in the prevention and treatment of difficult diseases. However, when an immature technology is roundly applied to human beings, resulting in irreversible changes in genetic traits that can be inherited from generation to generation, the limitations of technology itself, the existing risks and the rights and freedoms associated with it are all challenging the existing order, which has aroused widespread concern in the society. To this,Chinese law is also actively responding and has made some progress. However, there are still some problems that require further improvement of the system. The system bottom line serves as a reasonable framework for technological development,to avoid risks and give full play to its value. At the same time, the legitimate rights and interests of various subjects are protected,so as to promote the development of human embryo gene editing in a favorable direction to benefit all mankind. This paper contains six chapters, the core idea is that the legal control of human embryo gene editing should be comprehensively considered, and the system should be constantly improved to ease the conflicts and contradictions in the development of technology.Among them, the first chapter is introduction to background, significance, research status and research methods of the topic,to grasp the current research overview. The second chapter is "Overview of Human Embryos Gene Editing",which analyzes the concept and technical development status of gene editing, and elaborates on the classification of human embryo gene editing, which provides technical theoretical support for the writing of this paper. The third chapter is "Considerations for Legal Control of Human Embryonic Gene Editing".This chapter discusses the value of human embryo gene editing, the existing risks and the related rights and freedoms, and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages, avoid risks and resolve conflicts while maximizing the advantages. The fourth chapter is "Current Legislation of Human Embryo Gene Editing in China".By sorting out the current legal norms in China,in this chapter analyzes the existing problems and points out the direction of improvement. The fifth chapter is "International Experience on Legal Control of Human Embryo Gene Editing",which compares the status quo of international legislations and extraterritorial legislative models, summarizes advanced experience and provides reasonable reference when appropriate. The sixth chapter is "Suggestions for Improving the Legal Control of Human Embryology Gene Editing in China".Based on the existing problems, put forward a path to improve the legal control of human embryo gene editing in line with Chinese characteristics to promote a more comprehensive, detailed and standardized legal norm in this field in China.
