Ankle is the main load-bearing joint at the end of human body. Its complex anatomical structure and motion mechanism make ankle joint sports injury more common. As the intersection of biology and mechanics, biomechanics can help doctors better understand the mechanism of mechanical transmission and injury of human body. The application of finite element method in ankle biomechanical simulation analysis can effectively simulate mechanical experiments such as tension and torsion,so as to solve the problem of ankle mechanical simulation, and help doctors to carry out rapid diagnosis and treatment. However, due to the complexity of ankle joint model,it is difficult to obtain the real model of ligament and other tissues, resulting in the reduction of model accuracy. In this paper,a dual source CT data set is used to simulate the ankle joint mechanics.Firstly, the data set is used for ligament segmentation, and the three-dimensional model of each ligament is extracted. Then the threedimensional model of ankle joint is reconstructed from the extracted bone and ligament model, and the finite element model of ankle joint is obtained. Finally, the effectiveness of the finite element model of ankle joint is verified.Under the same loading conditions, compared with the previous finite element analysis of ankle joint, the calculation results of the proposed method are more consistent with the actual data of previous literature, which verifies the effectiveness of the proposed method. In addition, the finite element method has some problems, such as the disconnection between the analysis and the geometric model, the low continuity between elements and the long time consuming of mesh generation. Therefore,in order to solve the above problems, this paper proposes to introduce the isogeometric method into the biomechanical analysis of ankle joint. The body parametric model of ankle joint is constructed by using the body parameter method, and each surface piece of ankle joint is assembled into the global stiffness matrix as a unit. Finally, the stress transmission of ankle joint is obtained through the isogeometric analysis.Through experimental comparison, the validity of isogeometric analysis method for ankle joint mechanical simulation is verified. Finally, combined with the actual needs, the ankle mechanics simulation analysis system is designed and implemented. The system calls the isogeometric analysis method, uses the system to simulate the mechanical analysis of the ankle joint based on the isogeometric method, and finally outputs the changes of each part of the ankle joint under various stress conditions.Through this system, clinicians can study the effect of ligaments on ankle stability and simulate other biomechanical properties.
