The Interaction Between Philosophy Of Science And Technology And Society In China

Since the reform and opening up,the philosophy of science and technology has developed vigorously and become an important subject in the field of philosophy and social science.The theoretical system of Chinese philosophy of science and technology is mainly composed of the view of nature,the view of science and technology,the methodology of science and technology,science and technology and society,the philosophical issues of natural science,the history of scientific thoughts,and the history of science and technology philosophy.Philosophy of science and technology is closely related to social development.On the one hand,social development affects the development of philosophy of science and technology;On the other hand,the philosophy of science and technology reacts to the development of society.This paper is mainly divided into four parts to explain the interaction between philosophy of science and technology and society:The first part summarizes the development process of the philosophy of science and technology in China,introduces the historical background of the rise of the philosophy of science and technology in China,and summarizes the research trends at home and abroad as well as the basic theoretical system of the philosophy of science and technology in China.The second part mainly analyzes the influence of social development on the philosophy of science and technology.Specifically,it includes the following three aspects: First,the society needs to raise a large number of new issues for the philosophy of science and technology,such as economic issues,ecological environment issues,science and technology value issues,science and technology ethics issues;Secondly,social development provides growth conditions for the study of philosophy of science and technology,and economic construction provides a strong fundamental driving force for the development of philosophy of science and technology;Democratic politics provides the system guarantee of tolerance for the innovation of philosophy of science and technology;Ideological emancipation creates a good cultural atmosphere for the development of philosophy of science and technology.The third part focuses on the reaction of philosophy of science and technology to social development.Specifically,it includes the following four aspects: The philosophy of science and technology reveals the social function of science and technology;The philosophy of science and technology provides the theoretical basis for formulating the development strategy of science and technology;The philosophy of science and technology leads people to change their way of thinking;The philosophy of science and technology promotes the rise of ecological civilization.The fourth part is about the philosophy of science and technology to serve the new era of China’s modernization forward-looking thinking.The focus involves three aspects: First,it is to pay attention to the reflection on the ethical issues in the frontier of high-tech;Second,it focuses on the complex issues facing the building of a community with a shared future for mankind;Third,it is to carry forward the spirit of innovation and make suggestions for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
