The study area is located in Yanyuan area,Sichuan Province,with complex geomorphic conditions.The coal measure strata in some areas are covered by Paleogene,Neogene and Quaternary strata,and the vegetation is relatively dense on the whole.It is difficult to carry out coalfield geological survey by traditional means.In this paper,a new coal prospecting method based on remote sensing technology under complex conditions is studied,and on this basis,the coal bearing strata and coal controlling structures are comprehensively analyzed.In this paper,Landsat7,SPOT,ALOS and other satellite image data are used as the main information source,combined with the basic geological data in the area,the methods of spectral angle matching,principal component analysis and minimum noise separation transformation are used to carry out the research of lithology classification and recognition,the alteration information extraction of carbonate minerals and clay minerals is carried out,and the field investigation and verification work is carried out,The stratigraphic interpretation marks of the study area are established.The remote sensing image is enhanced by using the methods of color transformation and density segmentation.The fault and other structural information are highlighted.The structural information is extracted and verified,and the structural interpretation mark is established.1:100000 remote sensing geological survey was carried out,and remote sensing geological interpretation of strata and structures was completed.Combined with the results of geological mapping,trenching,shallow well,small kiln survey,sampling test and other work of the project,eight coal bearing prospect areas are delineated through comprehensive analysis.On this basis,the remote sensing image characteristics of coal measure strata are analyzed,and the spatial distribution characteristics of coal measure strata are summarized;The characteristics of main coal controlling structures in the study area are studied.The results show that the study area is mainly composed of fold fault assemblage and monoclinic fault block assemblage.The coal measures in the syncline core and the wide and gentle northwest wing of Yanyuan nappe body are less damaged by the structure,and the coal hosting effect is better.By using the theory of structural coal control and the analysis of sedimentary environment,the key coal bearing areas are determined,which provides a target area for the next coal resource exploration.
