In recent years,with the development of the domestic economy and the recent 14 th Five-Year Plan,the oil and gas industry has also continued to develop,and the demand for bent pipes connecting oil and gas pipelines has also increased simultaneously.However,due to the particularity and complexity of the bending deformation of the pipe,the production efficiency of the bent pipe cannot keep up with the market demand.In addition,various defects such as tube wall instability,wrinkling,thinning and cracking,and cross-sectional distortion are prone to occur during the forming process of the elbow,which has become an important issue restricting the development of oil and gas.In this way,how to improve the quality of the bend is a serious challenge under the premise of ensuring the production efficiency of the bend.For this reason,we were commissioned by a special materials company to solve problems such as low production efficiency and product defects.Taking the stainless steel pipe with an outer diameter of 60.3mm and a wall thickness of 3.05 mm as the object,a set of high-efficiency new pipe bending unit is designed.Theoretical analysis of the bending process is carried out,and the influencing factors in the forming process are carried out in-depth research through simulation analysis and other aspects.The purpose is to improve production efficiency under the premise of ensuring the quality of the elbowFirst of all,through an in-depth investigation of the current pipe bending unit,considering the aging of the original pipe bending unit and the complicated process flow.Based on the use of mechanical design theory and finite element simulation analysis technology,a new set of bending pipe production unit is designed.After analyzing the production method and process flow of the on-site bending pipe,a production process plan with high production efficiency was designed on the basis of the original bending pipe production unit.Secondly,using the theory of plastic forming,the force analysis and theoretical calculation of the deformation of the pipe during the bending deformation process are carried out;Through theoretical analysis and calculation methods,in-depth research has been conducted on the changes in the wall thickness of the pipe during the bending deformation,the bending radius during the bending deformation,and the crosssectional distortion of the elbow,and certain research results have been obtained.It provides theoretical support for the design of the new pipe bending unit.Subsequently,the cutting shape of the tubular blank was studied in depth,and the optimal cutting size of the tubular blank was obtained through a combination of theoretical analysis and simulation,which can reduce the waste of pipes and reduce production costs.Finally,in order to reduce the various product defects that appear in the bending process of the pipe,the Abaqus CAE2019 finite element simulation software is used to study the influencing factors of the pipe during the bending process.Through in-depth analysis of the simulation results,the optimal process parameters are obtained,which provides a basis for the design of the pipe bending unit.The design scheme of the new pipe bending unit has been affirmed by the professional and technical personnel of a special material company,and theoretically,it can meet the requirements of improving production efficiency and improving product quality.
