The Banqiao-Wazichen area of Fengyang County is located in the Bengbu uplifted belt between Qinling polymetallic metallogenic belt and Jiaodong gold metallogenic belt.At present,eight gold deposits and one Mashan rutile and molybdenum deposit have been found.As one of the important regions for gold mineralization in Anhui Province,it has shown great promise for further prospect.However,due to the extensive Quaternary coverage,geological background of the ore deposit is far from clear.Through the collection of regional geological data and the analysis of ore spots in the study area,the metallogenic geological background and conditions in the study area are roughly identified,and the geological-geophysical-geochemical prospecting model for medium-low temperature hydrothermal gold deposits in the study area is preliminarily established.The metallogenic characteristics of gold and molybdenum polymetallic deposits in this area are summarized and analyzed.The gold deposits are mainly gold-bearing quartz vein type and broken altered rock type.Controlled by structure,the ore-bearing strata are Wuhe Group,and the lithology is metabasic volcanic rock.This volcanic iron-magnesium silicate formation is an important geological body of metamorphic hydrothermal gold veins,and also provides mineral sources,reflecting the metallogenic specificity of the strata.In this thesis,I employ geophysical techniques such as magnetic measurement,induced polarization mid-gradient measurement,apparent resistivity joint profile measurement,controlled source magnetotelluric sounding CSAMT,and induced polarization sounding measurement,to delineate the abnormal area of Banqiao-wazichen area.A total of ten gold,lead and molybdenum ore bodies were delineated.The selection of geological and metallogenic conditions is very favorable,and it is highly consistent with the prediction criteria expressed by the prospecting model.My study suggested five prospecting targets.The areas with sufficient prediction basis and large resource potential are selected for drilling,geochemical exploration and thin section identification.The lithology of all the ore(mineralization)bodies in the 11 boreholes in the whole area is sulfide-bearing quartz veins with different thicknesses.The 0-500 m metallogenic type in the study area is mainly tectonically controlled and hydrothermally filled quartz vein type.The magmatic rocks seen in the outcrops and boreholes in the study area are mainly comprised of red quartz syenite porphyry with some veins.The magmatic activity provides good thermal conditions and provenance conditions for gold polymetallic mineralization.Therefore,this area has good gold and molybdenum polymetallic prospecting potential.The prospecting model prediction method proposed in this paper,and a variety of geophysical prospecting methods coupled with accurate identification technology are of great value and significance to guide the prospecting progress in this area.
