In recent years,there has been a significant change in transportation structure and transportation model.The previous sampling investigation mechanism has not fully adapted to the needs of cargo transport statistics at this stage.Since 2008,several large-scale road cargo transportation volumes have been launched.The continuous improvement of special investigation statistics for road cargo transportation,reflects the importance of special investigation statistical methods research.Therefore,the comparative analysis of the special investigation of road cargo transportation has been carried out.By comparing the current two special investigation and statistics methods of road freight transport volume from the investigation purpose,investigation object,sampling method and data processing,It is found that the current statistical methods of special investigation on road freight transport volume are faced with some problems,such as the special investigation and statistics method of road freight traffic volume is facing the problem that the investigation and statistics mechanism is not perfect,complicated data entry leading to errors,and incomplete control of errors caused by special investigation.This paper puts forward the statistical improvement methods of special survey on road freight transport in three aspects: improving the sampling method of special survey,adjusting the proportion of the selection weight of fluctuation coefficient index,and using auxiliary information to construct ratio estimation to reduce traffic error.Taking Hainan Province as an example,the correctness of the implementation of the special investigation improvement method is verified.The research results show that the deviation between the weight proportion of the fluctuation coefficient excluding outbound trucks and the original fluctuation coefficient is4.14%,and the deviation between the weight proportion of outbound trucks and the original fluctuation coefficient is 5.27%.It can be seen that the proportion of index weight excluding outbound trucks is more conducive to reducing the calculation error of fluctuation coefficient of special investigation;The standard deviation of the estimate of the construction ratio of the marked tonnage to freight volume is 4.1542,which is less than the standard deviation of the estimate of freight volume obtained by simple stratified sampling 5.4978.The standard deviation of the estimator for constructing the ratio estimate using the labeled tonnage and turnover is 258,which is less than the standard deviation of the estimator for turnover obtained by simple stratified sampling is 260.Therefore,the ratio estimator constructed by marking tonnage is beneficial to reduce the standard deviation of traffic estimation.It shows that the improvement measures proposed after the comparative analysis of the statistical methods of the special investigation of road freight traffic volume can effectively reduce the error of the traffic volume,and provide reference for the transport statistics department to carry out the follow-up special investigation.
