As an important part of the human-computer interaction interface,the auditory interface has been widely used in various human-computer interaction systems.The auditory interface plays an important role in supporting and assisting the visual interface through auditory warning,auditory supplementation,and information shunting.With the increasing complexity of information systems and the increasing demand for multi-channel interaction,the auditory interface,as an important means of multi-channel interaction,is becoming more and more important to the interaction safety and performance of human-computer interaction interfaces.However,the problem of improper design of the auditory interface is prominent,and the corresponding ergonomic evaluation of the auditory interface is insufficient.Therefore,it is necessary to conduct an in-depth study on the ergonomic evaluation of the auditory interface.This paper analyzes the characteristics of the auditory interface,and conducts research from both the auditory icon and the earcon.Firstly,based on the role of the auditory icon as the supplementary information of the visual interface in the complex information system,it analyzes the influencing factors of the user's performance,and discusses the auditory icon's role as the supplementary information of the visual interface.The paper establish the RCSO theoretical model for the correct use of the target and the evaluation method;secondly,the earcon of the auditory interface is used as the feedback sound,and the method of expanding the information feedback channel through auditory feedback is studied to obtain a way to effectively reduce the cognitive load of the visual interface.Focusing on the use of non-speech auditory interface in complex information systems,we summarized and designed the evaluation criteria and design guidelines for the auditory icon and earcon of the auditory interface of complex information systems.Finally,the paper completed the design experiment of the auditory icon and earcon and verified the reliability of the RCSO model and the feasibility of using earcon as feedback sound.This article comprehensively uses subjective and performance experiments to study the relationship between auditory interface evaluation factors and user behavior,focusing on the ergonomic evaluation criteria for auditory icon and earcon in the auditory interface,which provides an effective reference and new ideas for the design and improvement of the auditory interface in accordance with.
