The high-power pulse power source based on single pulse spreading and compression has the disadvantages of a short lifetime,poor stability,and a small adjustable range of parameters due to the limited performance limitation of electronic devices.Time reversal is an adaptive synchronous focusing technology.Through its adaptive announced focusing,it not only can significantly improve the peak power output capability of a high-power pulse source,but also the pulse output stability,high reliability,and adjustable range of pulse parameters.In this paper,a new high-power pulse source based on a time-reversal time-domain focusing physical mechanism is analyzed and studied in combination with a pulse focusing cavity with a built-in rimless scatterer.Firstly,the ns-level passive pulse focusing and compression theory based on time inversion is proposed from the principle of single pulse spreading and compression to generate high power pulses.The relationship between the pulse compression parameters and the dispersion delay of the cavity is proposed to be derived.Subsequently,three pulse focusing electromagnetic structures are designed based on the passive focusing compression theory,and the optimal pulse focusing electromagnetic structure is determined by comparing the focusing pulse peak characteristics generated in conventional time inversion and 1bit time inversion through full-wave simulation analysis.The simulation analysis shows that the best overall performance of the high-power focusing pulse is obtained by the oblique tangential scatterer rectangular metal pulsed focusing cavity EM structure.Then,the influence of the input pulse parameters on the focusing pulse generation is analyzed under this electromagnetic structure.The test results show that the pulse width,input time and input rate of the input pulse all affect the focused pulse.
