| As a kind of micro cavity laser,random laser has many physical characteristics,and has a wide application prospect in biochemical detection,flat panel display,UV laser and other fields.In recent years,in order to solve the problems of poor directionality and high threshold of the random laser,researchers combine the optical fiber with the random laser to produce the optical fiber random laser.Due to the unique nonlinear properties of liquid core fiber,if the liquid core fiber is used into the research of random laser,the random laser can be modulated by the unique optical properties of liquid core fiber,such as light wave conduction,mode coupling,birefringence,dispersion,etc.It is of great significance to study the interaction between random laser and matter,the generation mechanism of random laser,and the application of fiber random laser.The main contents of this paper are as follows:A liquid core fiber random laser with self-assembled silver nanoparticles is studied.The silver nanoparticles obtained by reduction method are fixed on the inner wall of hollow fiber by self-assembled.Self assembled silver nanoparticles as scattering layer,F8BT laser dye xylene solution as gain layer and fiber core,hollow capillary as cladding are used to construct liquid core fiber waveguide structure.The self-assembled silver nanoparticles are distributed on the inner wall to form multiple scattering,which enhances the fluorescence emission of F8BT and realizes the random laser output.At the same time,compared with the random laser with liquid core fiber,the pump threshold is reduced to 7.67 m J/cm~2,FWHM is 20 nm.Moreover,the transmission direction and the output of lightwave is stable.Random laser emission is mainly along the fiber line.In order to further improve the distance between pump light and scattering particles in liquid core fiber,enhance the output of random laser and reduce the threshold value,the random laser characteristics of the liquid core fiber random laser capillary coated with silver are studied.A uniform and dense silver film was prepared on the surface of the liquid core optical fiber by silver ammonia solution silver plating method.The uniform and dense silver film on the optical fiber transmission surface can effectively reduce the loss of random laser in the transmission process,further reduce the threshold of random laser,thereby effectively improving the performance of random laser and realizing the long-distance output of random laser,it also provides a feasible idea for the commercialization of random lasers. |
