The separated molybdenum ore of China's processing plant mostly come from different mines,due to the differences of ore properties and ore grades,the beneficiation indexes are different.For the rational utilization of low-grade ore,raising the utilization rate,different types of ore are blended by processing plant.However,the relative stability of the ore grade is often attached great importance by the processing plant during the blending process,and the impacts of the changes of ore properties on beneficiation indexs are ignored,so that the beneficiation indexs are fluctuated even deteriorated.In order to solve the problems mentioned above,process mineralogical research,experimental research and comparion of the best beneficiation indexes,experimental research about the influences of ore blending flotation on beneficiation indexes were carried out for the 5 different lithology Molybdenum ores of the mineral processing plant in Henan.According to the results of the study,the reasonable ore blending measures were put forward,which provide the bases of reducing the influences of the ore properties change on the flotation,stable production and improving the beneficiation indexes.Process mineralogy study showed that: the mineral composition,occurrence state of molybdenum,ore structure characteristics,dissemination size of molybdenite,and ore hardness of different lithology molybdenum ores are different.Experimental research and comparion of the best beneficiation indexes showed that: the grindability of the lithology molybdenum ores,the optimal grinding fineness,reagent regime and the best beneficiation indexs could be different due to the influence of ore property.Besides the beneficiation indexs of the skarn type molybdenum ore were best,felsic hornfels-type molybdenum ore and diopside-plagioclase hornfels-type molybdenum ore were similar,biotite-quartz hornfels-type molybdenum ore were worse and the wollastonite hornfels-type molybdenum ore indexs were the worst.In this paper,4 schemes of ore blending were designed according to the different the beneficiation indexes of each individual ores.The beneficiation indexes of each ore were weighted average according to the content of the mineral in the ore blending scheme,and the ideal beneficiation indexes of the ore blending scheme was obtained.Comparing the actual beneficiation indexes with the ideal beneficiation indexes,the influences of ore blending flotation of different lithologic molybdenum ore on the beneficiation indexes were determined.Experimental study on the influence of ore blending flotation on beneficiation indexes showed that: the case in the same grade and-0.074 mm accounted for 65%,the concentrate grade of each ore blending scheme was higher than that of the ideal value in terms of concentrate grade,which means taking the skarn type molybdenum ore as main,blending flotation with different lithology ore can reduce the difference of ore grindability and improve the quality of concentrate.In terms of concentrate recovery,the recovery rate of ore blending IV was the highest,ore blending?and ore blending ? were similar,ore blending ? was the worst;Compared with the ideal recovery rate,the recovery rate of ore blending IV was increased by 1.45%,and ore blending I was slightly lower,which was inconspicuous,ore blending ? was reduced by 1.56%,and ore blending ? was reduced by 2.81%.After blending,molybdenum separateing effect of ore blending IV was the best,which means taking the skarn type molybdenum ore and the biotite-quartz hornfels-type molybdenum ore as main,mixing a small amount of the surplus lithologic ores(The content of the skarn type molybdenum ore was 38.82%;the biotite-quartz hornfels-type molybdenum ore content for 46.18%,felsic hornfels-type molybdenum ore,diopside-plagioclase hornfels-type molybdenum ore,and the wollastonite hornfels-type molybdenum ore content was 5% each.)will help to improve the recovery rate of molybdenum,and improve the beneficiation indexes.
