Tin is one of the earliest human discovery and application of metal elements.Because of tin is widely used,the world of tin resources demand is increasing.But with the loss of the tin ore grade and ore composition more and more complex,it maks it more difficult to choose tin,selecting methods are started by a single re-election is converted into a variety of mineral processing methods,by recycling the single metal to the comprehensive recovery of valuable metals in ore minerals,avoid the waste of resources.The object of this thesis is shangzhai tin,tin ore grade of 0.171%for the low-grade tin oxide,so it made a series of metallurgical testing studies,including chemical composition test,process mineralogy research,exploration test,test conditions,test process,a variety of analytical determination of the work aimed at developing a reasonable beneficiation process,in order to improve the tin concentrate grade and recovery.On consulting a large number of literatures and combined with the practice of tin ore dressing industry in China,based on the experimental study of ore dressing.Process mineralogy research shows that the mine main metal mineral stone for cassiterite,limonite,pyrite,rutile and zircon.The gangue minerals are mainly quartz,sericite,chlorite,tourmaline,topaz and biotite.Through the research of mineral components,determine the cassiterite genesis of main recovery in the mine.In the choice of the tin ore doesn't test found that the ore in the process of fine particle content is higher,the mud is higher,can consider to washing,desliming in advance.On the basis of the results of tests,the separation scheme is determined,it is comprised of pre-classification and washing,two stage grinding,and discarding operation by spiral chute,three times table separation,the table concentrate treated by intensitive magnetic separation,and it obtains final products including high grade tin concentrate and rich middling.After pre-classification and washing,the particles at a size of +0.212mm are ground to-0.074mm accounting for 47.85%,and then combined with the particles size at-0.212mm,the combination introduced into the spiral chute,after through rough and scavenge for discarding,the concentrate is treated by table,and then the obtained middling from primary table separation is retreated by table,the middling produced by secondary table separation is ground to-0.074mm accounting for 74.63%,followed by the third table separation,final concentrate of table separation after intensitive magnetic separation,can produce a tin concentrate containing 40.48%tin at a recovery of 51.21%with a productivity of 0.21%,moreover,a productivity percentage of 0.75%of tin middling is obtained containing 5.22%tin at a recovery of 21.48%,the total recovery of tin is up to 72.69%.In conclusion,an effective flowsheet is determined to obtain a qualified product on the basis of the characteristics of tin ores;it realizes that the values in the tin ores are recovered at a maximum recovery.According to the studies on the process mineralogy and mineral separation technology of this tin ore,it can provide a reference for the plant which processes similar ores.Especially,the way of using spiral chute to discard the refractory low-grade fine particles,it gives us a new understanding on the process of low-grade tin oxide ore.
