Solid state metal shearing bonding technology is the key of new endless rolling process,process parameters of the technology have important influence on the process of rolling and the quality of products.Therefore,on-line monitoring of temperature,stroke and force parameters is of great significance to ensure the safety implementation and product quality of the shear connection process.Overall design scheme of monitoring system for shear bonding of solid metal base is put forward based on PLC and kingview according to process for shear bonding of solid metal in this paper.The research status of intermediate billet joining technology and equipment condition monitoring technology was analyzed.Shear temperature,the amount of reduction,shear force and lateral force were determined as the measured dynamic parameters by analyzing the factors that influence the quality of the connection zone.The integrated monitoring system with signal acquisition,data processing and host computer display was established,which used PLC as its main control unit of the slave computer,Kingview as the host computer monitoring system design software.The design of main control unit,signal acquisition and processing module is realized according to the function principle of each module of the system.The STEP 7-Micro/WIN SMART is used to design the program in PLC,and the real-time acquisition and processing of the field analog signal are realized by the sensor.The host computer monitoring system software has the important functions of real-time recording and display of field data,overrun alarm,trend analysis,database query,report printing,etc.For Q345 steel with a size of 200mm×43.5mm×29mm,the influence rules of key parameters were analyzedand,and the range of key parameters was established based on the finite element simulation and experiment.The measured parameters and data were tested by on-line monitoring experiment.The results show that the solid metal shearing connection monitoring system can run stably and reliably,and the limit alarm of the critical parameters can ensure the safe operation of the equipment.The establishment of experiment database can provide scientific basis for further study of shear bonding technology,and will be helpful to the actual production of this technology.
