The development of today's society is more and more indispensable to a few keywords, save resources, protect the environment and achieve sustainable development.Textile is no longer confined to the clothing field, and every field, more and more applications. As one of the earliest humans to develop and use in textile raw materials, cotton has increased rapidly in usage in today's society.Cotton planting costs have been increasing year by year, and many insecticides are needed for planting, which can easily cause water pollution. In addition,a large number of applications also means that there will be a large number of phase-out products. These cotton fabrics that have been eliminated are piled up or burned, which is not only a waste but also causes environmental pollution.Due to the shortage of cotton fibers and various textile materials, rising prices and increasing awareness of environmental protection, more and more experts and scholars have begun to pay attention to how to recycle waste textiles, such as waste military uniforms to produce recycled fibers, and waste fabrics to generate electricity. However, due to the decline in the performance of recycled waste cotton fabrics,it is difficult to reuse them directly. Therefore,it is necessary to carry out pre-treatment of used cotton fabrics to improve their properties and achieve reuse standards. In the traditional textile technology, the cotton fibers undergo mercerization and recombine some of the hydrogen bonds, and the molecular orientation structure is optimized, which is conducive to strong improvement. This subject is inspired by this process, using alkali urea solution to modify the cotton fabric and study the optimal modification parameters. On the basis of successful modification of cotton fabrics,in order to broaden the application of waste cotton fabrics,low-temperature modified cotton fabrics were used as reinforcements, supplemented with degradable thermoplastic matrix,to explore the preparation of composite materials. Finally, through testing and analysis of surface properties, mechanical properties, interfacial properties, crystallinity, and chemical composition, the feasibility and the law of performance.of the development of alkaline/urea low-temperature treated cotton fabric reinforced fully degradable composite materials and low-temperature modified composite materials were explored.Through the study, this article draws the following conclusions:(1)After the low-temperature modification treatment, the surface of the cotton fiber becomes rough, and even some grooves appear. This phenomenon is beneficial to the enhancement of the mechanical properties of the cotton fabric and the molding of the composite material.(2)the low temperature modification of Na OH/ urea has a significant effect on improving the properties of fabric and improving the uniformity of cotton fabric.Especially on the mechanical properties,the-5 ? low temperature modification of Na OH/urea solution to the tensile properties of cotton fabrics is 57.46 MPa,compared to the original fabric tensile properties of 48.53 MPa,increased by 18.4%;(3)Na OH/urea low-temperature modified cotton fabrics with polylactic acid(PLA),cellulose acetate(CA)of the preparation of composite materials, compared with the original fabric preparation of composite material mechanics and interface performance has improved a lot.The tensile strength of polylactic acid(PLA)composite modified cotton fabric increased by 16.31%,the tensile modulus increased by 36.29%,and the bending strength increased by 24.66%.The tensile strength of cellulose acetate(CA)composite modified cotton fabric increased by 17.69%,the tensile modulus increased by 66.46%,and the bending strength increased by 39.62%;(4)Soil degradation tests of composites prepared from low-temperature modified cotton fabrics and polylactic acid(PLA)and cellulose acetate(CA),respectively, showed that cellulose acetate(CA)/modified cotton fabric composites were obtained at the final 200 days. The strength remained 89.94% when undegraded, and the polylactide(PLA)/modified cotton fabric composite retained 76.20% of the undegraded strength,so the low-temperature modification treatment had a positive effect on the interface of the composite material, which in turn could improve the composite material.Performance.In this dissertation,a systematic study was performed on the low-temperature modification of Na OH/urea and the cotton fabric-enhanced fully degradable composite materials. The macroscopic and microscopic properties were characterized, and the influencing mechanisms and laws were deeply explored. The research on science and technology provides a reference for the exploration of green composite materials and recycling of used cotton textiles to a certain degree, which has certain significance.
