Along with the fast economic development and the changing consumption ideas in Chinese,consumers have begun to pay much more attention to infants’ cotton goods.Meanwhile,the large population base and the rapid population growth guarantee the market size of infants’ cotton goods.Nowadays,the research on Infants’ cotton goods market becomes more and more important.J Company is dedicated to foreign trade import and export of children’s and adults’ textile products for many years,which has rich experience in design and processing high-quality goods.For sustainable development and business growth,the company is considering to make a brand expansion of infants’ s contton goods market.Firstly,this paper foucus on infants’ cotton goods market analysis,including market demand,external environment and market supply,etc.The result can be summarized into an environmental analysis table,a competition radar chart,a product category list,a price table,and a place and promotion table.Based on this,a position map of infants’ clothing brands is drawn.In combination with the demand for the establishment of a new brand,five potential market segments are selected.According to the market segmentation,J Company choose one to be the target market.In ordert to make a deep research on the target market,15 brands are surveyed and analyzed in terms of brand style,product mix,place,and promotions.Also,a questionnaire survey is done to research the influence of different factors that affect consumer demand and behavior.Based on the target market analysis and consumer demand analysis,position strategies are inferred.Finally,combined with the full-text analysis and the existing advantages of J Company,this article makes suggestions for the establishment of the new brand,including product,price,place and promotion.In order to improve competitiveness of new brands,this paper further explores the potential of marketing channels,and puts forward the concept of new brands to construct secondary channels of the Internet.All in all,the study is a comprehensive,meticulous and multi-faceted market research,combined with the actual needs of J Company.The research content and the results can be used as a reference foe J Company to create a new brand,and the proposed strategies advice can also be used for the creation of a new brand.In addition,this study is based on the economic background of the Internet to explore marketing potential and make marketing strategies for traditional companies,like J Company.
