The bar feeder is a mechanical device that automatic feeding for turning.It has the function of suppressing the rotation vibration of the bar during the turning process.In the context of the current transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry,bar feeders have received more and more attention in mechanical processing manufacturing industry.Discrete support bar feeder is a bar feeder with high comprehensive performance.The research of discrete support lathe feeder has important theoretical and practical value.This paper analyzes the severe vibration phenomenon of turning bar,and obtains the cause and severe vibration state of it.Based on this,the research of discrete support bar feeder on the vibration control of turning bar is carried out,and the vibration control research results are used to design a bar support parameter of a discrete support bar feeder equipped with a largecapacity silo.On this basis,completing the structural design of the feeder,and using a simulation tool to varify the designed feeder.The specific research contents are as follows:Based on the dynamic characteristics of the bending vibration of the turning bar,the linear and nonlinear equations of motion descript the bending vibration of the turning bar are established and solved.Based on the derivation results,the cause of the severe vibration of the turning bar is obtained,the violent vibration mechanism of turning bar stock is analysis.The contents of this research pointing out the direction for the research of turning bar vibration control.According to the analysis results of the vibration characteristics of the turning bar,the bar vibration control schemes using elastic support or rigid support are proposed respectively.The bending vibration equations of elastic multi-fulcrum and rigid multi-fulcrum bars are established and solved.The influence of elastic fulcrum parameters and rigid fulcrum parameters on the vibration characteristics of the bar is analyzed.It provides theoretical guidance for the design of bar feeder using elastic or rigid support to control the bar vibration.Based on the research results of bar vibration control in this paper,the bar support parameter of a discrete supported bar feeder equipped with a large-capacity silo was designed,and the structural scheme of the feeder was designed according to the designed bar support parameter.The structural design of the bar feeder was completed.The strength of the designed key structure was analyzed by finite element to verify the reliability of the designed structure.The motion dynamics of the discrete support bar feeder was simulated,and the transient vibration simulation of the bending vibration of the bar supported by the feeder during processing was carried out,and the simulation results were compared with a certain oil bath type.The comparison of the fluid-structure coupling simulation results of the bending vibration amplitude of the bar supported by the bar feeder during processing is made to verify the motion reliability of the feeder designed in this paper and the vibration control ability of the rotating bar.
