At present,Nomex honeycomb core material is widely used in aerospace and other high-precision areas with its unique material and structural characteristics.However,the processing technology of Nomex honeycomb core is not perfect,and there are defects in process.Currently,the main processing method for Nomex honeycomb core material is to apply the combination milling cutter for milling machining,and the milling process will produce a large amount of burr,tear and other machining defects on the processed surface of the honeycomb core.Because of the large milling force,the processed honeycomb core tends to appear honeycomb collapse and crushing,and the retention force of Nomex honeycomb core is high.Domestic and foreign experts and scholars to study application of ultrasonic vibration cutting processing technology instead of Nomex honeycomb core milling machining,but for ultrasonic vibration cutting processing technology is still in the initial stage,this topic will study of the theory of ultrasonic cutting Nomex honeycomb core materials and design the ultrasonic vibration cutting processing equipment.This paper will further improve the theory of ultrasonic vibration cutting,and apply the design of ultrasonic vibration cutting processing device to the Nomex honeycomb core material for cutting test,and to find the optimal processing parameters through the experiment.In this paper,the main research contents include:(1)Through the literature research the material properties of Nomex honeycomb core materials and the current status of application of the honeycomb core materials.This paper studies the processing technology of Nomex honeycomb core material,analyzes and compares the advantages and disadvantages of each processing technology,summarizes the research status of ultrasonic vibration cutting technology and analyzes its application prospect for Nomex honeycomb core material processing.(2)The ultrasonic composite machining technology and its principle and the characteristics of ultrasonic vibration machining are introduced.The components of ultrasonic vibration processing unit are studied,and the design idea of ultrasonic vibration cutting device is clarified.Through the selection of ultrasonic generator and machine tool,the design of ultrasonic vibration cutting system and its fixture is presented.The design of the ultrasonic vibration cutting Nomex honeycomb core material processing device is completed.According to the ultrasonic vibration cutting processing device designed,the ultrasonic vibration cutting and processing technology is analyzed,and the process of correct processing of Nomex honeycomb core material is obtained.(3)The numerical simulation of the components of the ultrasonic vibration cutting system was carried out by ABAQUS finite element analysis software.The ultrasonic vibration cutting system is optimized by checking and correcting,the ultrasonic vibration cutting device is designed to make the design result more reasonable,and the ultrasonic vibration cutting system is optimized.(4)The mechanical analysis of the ultrasonic vibration cutting process is carried out to analyze the stress of the cutting edge.According to the mechanical properties of Nomex honeycomb core material,the cutting force model of Nomex honeycomb core is established.The effect of ultrasonic vibration on the cutting force is studied by this model.The cutting force calculation method of ultrasonic vibration cutting Nomex honeycomb core is proposed.According to the proposed formula,the influence of the machining parameters such as the inclination angle,the vibration amplitude and the feed speed on the cutting force during the cutting process is analyzed,and the influence of the processing parameters on the cutting force is obtained.(5)The ultrasonic vibration cutting test system is established.The single factor test and orthogonal test of the ultrasonic vibration cutting Nomex honeycomb core material were carried out.The test results were measured using a dynamometer.Through the single factor test selected the relative suitable range of the level.The influence of technological parameters on cutting force in ultrasonic vibration cutting is verified.And then we do the orthogonal experiment.By filtering,verifying and averaging the test data,the results of the test are analyzed with range and variance.In combination with the cutting surface morphology of the cutting experiment,the optimal processing parameters are obtained.We get the optimal processing parameters through in combination with the three-dimensional display of super depth system observe the cutting surface morphology of the cutting experiment.
