CAE analysis has been widely used in injection mold design,effectively improving the quality of mold design and shortening the product development cycle.CAE data runs through the mold design process and provides sufficient information support for engineers in different departments.However,due to the complexity and isolation of the data,the design information cannot be directly applied,which wastes a large amount of time making intermediate documents and modeling repeatedly,and results in low efficiency.Concurrently,mold companies have accumulated a lot of CAE data in the production process,but the lack of effective data management makes it difficult to share historical CAE analysis cases.To solve the above problem,this paper researches and develops the management and application technology of CAE analysis data for injection molds.The data composition of injection mold CAE analysis is complex,and most of the unformatted data is difficult to be automatically applied.This article first sorts out the CAE analysis process in detail,classifies and splits the overall CAE data,and parses the underlying file format.On this basis,the standard format of each category of data is defined.Concurrently,the automatic acquisition or storage of data is studied.Historical CAE analysis cases include a lot of design experience and design knowledge,engineers can improve design efficiency by referring to similar cases.In this paper,based on the node information of the discrete model of the product,the D2 distance shape operator of its three-dimensional model is used to characterize the geometric characteristics of the product,which is used as the index for case query.Concurrently,the corresponding matching algorithm is designed to achieve similar case matching query,which reduces the dependence of enterprises on personal experience.The design of the injection mold runner system requires repeated modeling in the CAE system and the CAD system,resulting in a waste of manpower and time.Based on the runner system information in the CAE data,this paper builds a tree-like topology structure of bidirectional links of nodes,and proposes a topology improvement algorithm In the CAD system,combined with the mold parting surface information,the wavelet decomposition algorithm is used to smooth the projected curve.Finally,the casting system is reconstructed in the CAD system by entity generation and parameterized template library call.Based on the above research results,this paper developed the injection mold CAE data management and application module,and verified the feasibility of the software through the application of examples.
