Digital simulation technology is an important link in the manufacturing industry and has an important impact on the processing quality of products.The use of this technology greatly improves the manufacturing efficiency of the manufacturing industry and increases the quality of the products.As a kind of digital simulation technology,the milling force simulation technology in five-axis milling is also one of the research hotspots of researchers.There are many factors that affect the machining quality in five-axis milling,but most of them are caused by the milling force generated during the milling process.For the accurate model and effective simulation means of milling force in five-axis machining,there is no mature method.In response to such problems,this article does the following research:1.In this paper,the geometric model of the ball-end cutter and the calculation model of the milling edge of the ball-end cutter are established.Based on this model,the motion model of the ball-end milling cutter is derived.2.Based on the established ball-end cutter model and the milling edge calculation model,this paper combined with the milling micro-element theory,the micro-element point vector method for calculating the instantaneous undeformed milling thickness was proposed,and the instantaneous undeformed micro-element of the tool was obtained.Milling thickness.In this paper,based on B-rep and the data structure of topological graph,the milling area of tool/workpiece is calculated by Boolean operation.Based on the establishment of the instantaneous undeformed milling thickness and the milling area of the ball-end cutter,the calculation model of the five-axis milling force is derived.And the milling force coefficient experiment was conducted to prove the effectiveness of the model.3.Computer simulation technology is one of the important means to improve production.In order to adapt to more complex model simulation,this paper develops software for fiveaxis milling force simulation based on OpenCASCADE kernel under Visual Studio 2017 platform.This software can carry out 5-axis milling force machining simulation by importing Brep files or Step files and combining the generated CLS tool path files.
