Research On The Application Of CMF In Modern Furniture Design

Furniture is an indispensable part of our daily life.Its appearance has experienced a long and tortuous process and is one of the earliest human creations.In the design process of furniture,in addition to satisfying the basic physiological needs of furniture users for the use of functions,designers are also very important in the choice of materials,colors,and craftsmanship.The thesis mainly discusses the application of color,material and finishing(CMF)design in modern furniture design,taking the basic concept of CMF design as the starting point,taking the current development status of modern furniture as the background,and applying CMF design concepts and methods in combination with acrylic materials In modern furniture design,analyze the advantages and disadvantages of this type of furniture in innovative design.Combining literature review method,survey method,inductive analysis method,theory and practice to propose effective and innovative methods of modern furniture design,so that contemporary furniture can not only meet functional needs,but also fully express the furniture Characteristics and feelings;In this study,the basic theory is first summarized,and then the relationship between CMF,modern furniture,and acrylic materials is discussed,and the modern furniture CMF design process is proposed,and then the design practice is carried out.During the design practice process,the dye is used to change the acrylic Color and surface texture combined with CMF design process for furniture design innovation.The research in this article is mainly divided into three aspects: First,the CMF theory,modern furniture design and acrylic relationship analysis are used to guide the construction of the modern furniture CMF design process.Second,in the design of modern furniture,CMF design methods and design processes can be combined to bring out the design direction,helping designers to carry out innovative design based on sources and get rid of subjective design thinking.Third,the CMF design concept has injected more expressions into acrylic furniture,carried out design practices,and enhanced the artistic and interesting nature of modern furniture design.
