At present,there are many researches on various properties of TiAlN,TiAlSiN and other hard coatings.One of the main problems is to reduce the friction coefficient of the coating without changing the main properties of the coating.In this paper,micro amount of Ag,MoS2and other solid lubricants were added into the coating to reduce wear.In this paper,Al2O3was selected as the grinding material,and the effects of Trace Ag and MoS2on the friction and wear properties of TiAlN,TiAlAgN and TiAlAgN-TiSiN with different Ag contents,TiAlSiN-Ti(Mo)N/MoS2,TiAlSiN/TiAlAgN/Ti(Mo)N-MoS2and other coatings were studied at room temperature,200 ?,400 ? and 600 ?,respectively.(1)The TiAlAgN coating with 0.12 at % and 0.30 at % Ag content was prepared by arc ion plating in Ar/N2atmosphere.The effect of the increase of Ag content in the range of 0.12 at%-0.30 at%on the tribological properties of TiAlN was studied.It was found that with the increase of Ag content,the thickness of the coating first increased and then decreased,and the hardness and adhesion gradually decreased.The XRD results showed that TiAlN and TiAlAgN coatings belong to B1 Na Cl structure,and the preferred orientation of TiAlN coating changed to(220)surface after adding Ag.The wear mechanism of the three coatings at different temperatures was mainly adhesive wear and abrasive wear.At room temperature,the friction coefficient of TiAlN coating was about 0.3 smaller than that of the other two coatings.At 200 ?,the wear rate of the three kinds of coatings was relatively high due to the accumulation of wear debris,which were 0.0371×10-3mm3/(Nm),0.0249×10-3mm3/(Nm),0.0258×10-3mm3/(Nm),respectively.At 400 ?,the wear resistance of Ag coating was better.The friction coefficient and wear rate were 0.43 and 0.0202×10-3mm3/(Nm),0.40 and 0.0173×10-3mm3/(Nm),respectively.When the temperature was 600 ?,the solid lubricant Ag has failed,so the friction coefficient and wear rate of the coating increase,and the higher the Ag content,the greater the wear rate of the coating.(2)TiAlAgN-TiSiN composite coating with Ag content of 0.10 at%and 0.25 at%was prepared by arc ion plating.The results showed that the thickness of TiAlAgN-TiSiN(0.10 at.%Ag)and TiAlAgN-TiSiN(0.25 at.%Ag)coatings were 5.78?m and 7.06?m,respectively,and the hardness was 2649.9(HV0.2)and 2361.0(HV0.2),respectively.The diffraction peaks of TiAlAgN-TiSiN coatings with different Ag contents correspond to B1Na Cl,and the preferred orientation was(220).The main wear mechanism of the two coatings at different temperatures was adhesive wear and abrasive wear.TiAlAgN-TiSiN(0.10 at.%Ag)coating was more wear-resistant than TiAlAgN-TiSiN(0.25 at.%Ag)coating at room temperature and 600 ?,and the best wear-resistant effect was obtained at 400 ?.In addition,when the Ag content increases in the range of 0.10 at%-0.25 at%,the adhesion of the coating increases.(3)TiAlSiN-Ti(Mo)N/MoS2 composite coating was deposited on 304 stainless steel by magnetron sputtering.The results showed that the hardness of the coating was27.56 Gpa,which was lower than that of TiAlSiN coating(29.1 Gpa),but the wear resistance of the coating was obviously improved.The main wear mechanism of TiAlSiN-Ti(Mo)N/MoS2composite coating is adhesive wear.The wear rates at 200 ? and 400 ? were 0.0339×10-3mm3/(Nm)and 0.1122×10-3mm3/(Nm),respectively.Compared with TiAlSiN coating,the wear rates at 600 ? were 38%and 57%lower,respectively.In general,the performance of TiAlSiN-Ti(Mo)N/MoS2composite coating was higher than that of single TiAlSiN coating.(4)TiAlSiN/TiAlAgN/Ti(Mo)N-MoS2 multilayer coatings were deposited on stainless steel substrates by alternating arc ion plating and magnetron sputtering.The results showed that the content of Mo and Ag in the coating was 0.62 at%and 0.77 at%,respectively.The results of abrasion tests at room temperature,200 ?,400 ? and 600? showed that the main wear rate of the coating was adhesive wear at different temperatures.The wear rates were 0.0517×10-3mm3/(Nm),0.1628×10-3mm3/(Nm),0.1080×10-3mm3/(Nm)and 0.1307×10-3mm3/(Nm).The friction coefficient and wear rate of the multilayer coating at 400 ? are lower than those at 200 ? and 600 ?,and the tribological properties of the multilayer coating are better at this temperature.
